January is Learn to Ski & Snowboard Month

January is a great time to celebrate winter through skiing and snowboarding. The Idaho Ski areas all have learning programs for YOU!

Bald Mountain:

EZ Ski or Ride- $90: In January come learn to ski or snowboard with this great deal of 3 Saturday lessons (3 hours each day) and lift ticket for just $90 per person.

Bogus Basin:

Passport to Learn- $249: Package includes 4 half-day (first-timer) beginner lessons, equipment, and a complimentary season pass after completion of lessons.

Mogul Mouse and Mountain Mites- $79 to $249: Mogul Mouse Programs (ages 3-6) and Mountain Mites (ages 7-11) include four half day or four full day lessons.

Brundage Mountain:

Grand Targhee:

Kelly Canyon:

January Saturday's: Join the instructors at Kelly for a 4 weekend session in January for a variety of ages and skill levels for $150-$195. Rental packages during this time are available.

Single Day Packages: If you just want to try it out one day, come up for just $85 for a lesson, lift ticket and rental.

Lookout Pass:

Free Ski School for Kids: When we say FREE we mean just that. All you need to do is register your child. Offered to children ages 6-17 yrs, is offered every Saturday morning from January 7 thru March 10, 2012. Registration is limited to the first 500 participants and sign-ups end on January 21!

GUARANTEED Learn to Ski & Ride Package- $45: First timer or never-ever? Master the basic skills you need to continue learning how to ski & ride, GUARANTEED! Instruction includes the fundamentals of turning, stopping and riding the rope tow. $45 per person includes rope tow ticket, equipment rental & one-hour lesson.

EZ Ski or Ride for Lookout- $99: Making it EZ for first-timers! Package includes 3 lift tickets, 3 rental packages, and 3 group lessons all at one incredibly low price of just $99.

FREE Next Level Clinic Intro: Skiers and riders who want to venture off the groomers in style can learn the secrets at the Lookout Pass Snowsports School. Lookout’s new Next Level program introduces advanced intermediates to the techniques required for safely exploring steeps, bumps, powder and trees. A free assessment clinic will be held on Sunday, Jan. 1 at 10:30 with the Next Level program beginning Jan 8 for $35 a session or $120 per month.

Lost Trail:

First Timer Special- $55: 1/2 hour group lesson, a full day lift ticket and full day rental. Cost is $50 for Skiing or $55 for Snowboarding. No Reservations Required just come up to the Mountain make your way to the Snowsports School and we will help you discover a lifetime of enjoyment! Lessons are every hour on the hour from 10 until 2.

1-2-3 Program- $123: This package includes 3 lift tickets, 3 rentals & 3 lessons. Upon completion of the program each student will receive a non-transferable punch pass for 3 additional lift ticket.

Magic Mountain:

EZ Ski/Ride 1-2-3 -$99: Here is a great deal on learning how to ski or ride with the EZ Ski/Ride package from Magic Mountain. Package includes a 3-time Ski or Snowboard rental package, 1 hour lesson and 1 lift ticket.

Pebble Creek:

Start Skiing or Snowboarding this Winter- $35: Lessons for those age 10 & up every Saturday and Sunday morning with a beginner area lift ticket and rental equipment is just $35.

Pomerelle Mt Resort:

FREE Learn to Ski and Board Day: Sunday - January 8, 2012. If you have never ever tried skiing or snowboarding, and you have a desire to give it a try…here is your chance to do it for free! Must be 7 years of age or older – (you are never too old!) Everyone must pre-register for this program by calling Pomerelle Mountain. Phone: 208-673-5599. You will receive: Ski or snowboard equipment package, 1 1/2 hour group lesson, Complimentary ticket to the Magic Carpet.

January Ladies Day- $95: Ladies Day Program is designed for women of all ages and abilities. Program includes (4) 1 ½ hour Clinics, (4) All Day Chairlift passes and (4) tasty lunches on Tuesday's in January (Jan. 10, 17, 24, 31).

EZ 1 2 3 Ski/Ride $129: This program is for skiers and snowboarders wanting to learn or improve on a lifetime sport. Age - 7 years and older, not just for kids, adult classes too! Package includes: 3 - Full Day lift tickets, 3 - 1 1/2 hour group lessons and 3 - Equipment rentals.

Schweitzer Resort:

Learn to in January- $39: This program is for first time skiier or boarders and includes a beginner lift ticket, lesson, & rental all for just $39.

EZ 123 Guaranteed Learn to Ski/Ride Program- $159: Includes three days of instruction, equipment rentals and beginner lift tickets. Daily at 10:30am until April 1st, 2012. For ages 13 and up.

Silver Mt Resort:

"Never Ever" Package- $70: This super affordable package includes rental equipment, 1 ½ hour group lesson and lift ticket.
