Traveling to Idaho?

If you’re traveling from out of state or taking a quick trip within Idaho, our two major airports make visiting our 19 member ski areas fast and easy. Depending on where you plan to visit, many  of our mountains are also within driving distance from surrounding cities in Washington, Oregon, Montana, Wyoming and Utah. As always, if you are driving or renting a vehicle be prepared for winter driving conditions, check the roads before you travel and mind any traction safety laws in place.

Major Airports

Spokane International Airport (GEG)

Is the primary airport servicing the Inland Northwest, including North Idaho. GEG is served by eight airlines and offers non-stop service to 22 destinations, with connecting flights from thousands of cities worldwide. Flying into Spokane puts you driving distance to Schweitzer, Silver Mountain Resort and Lookout Pass ski areas with on mountain and local lodging available.

Boise Airport (BOI)

Is served by seven airlines that offer nonstop flights from 29 destinations, with connecting flights to thousands of cities worldwide. Flying into Boise puts you driving distance from our member ski areas in Southern Idaho and McCall.

Regional Airports

Idaho Falls Regional Airport (IDA – Fanning Field)

Idaho Falls Regional Airport is served by five airlines that offer nonstop flights from 12 destinations with connecting flights from thousands of cities worldwide.

Sun Valley (SUN – Friedman Memorial)

Friedman Memorial airport is served by three airlines offering nonstop flights from Seattle, Denver and Salt Lake City. This airport gives you direct access to mountains in Southern Idaho including Sun Valley Resort.

Pocatello Regional Airport (PIH – Pocatello Regional)

Pocatello Regional Airport serves the cities of Pocatello, Chubbuck and the Southeast Idaho region with Delta Connection service to Salt Lake City.

Magic Valley Regional Airport (TWF — Joslin Field)

Magic Valley Regional Airport is served by two airlines that offer service to Salt Lake City and Denver.
